Today's economic calendar is light, covering weekly retail figures and small-business sentiment.

The day begins with the NFIB Small Business Optimism Index at 7:30 a.m. ET. The consensus forecast calls for a reading of 90.1 in February, up from 88.9 in the previous month.

The ICSC-Goldman Store Sales report will be released at 7:45 a.m. ET, followed by the Redbook retail numbers at 8:55. a.m. ET.
