NUAN: SEE CHART GET CHAIN FIND STRATEGIES

Earnings, Revenue Miss

Nuance Communications earned just $0.34 a share in the second-quarter on revenue of $484 million. Analysts had expected $0.40 and $516.5 million, respectively. NUAN drops 12 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.

Weak Government Spending Hurts Riverbed

Riverbed Technology earned $0.23 a share in the first quarter on revenue of $246 million. That misses the $0.24 profit estimate and $261 million revenue expected by analysts. The networking company blamed weak government and corporate spending. RVBD falls 6 percent in the premarket.

Pfizer Reports Disappointing Quarter

Pfizer reported first-quarter profit of $0.54, missing the $0.55 consensus estimate. Revenue of $13.5 billion also missed the $13.99 billion Street number. PFE drops more than 3 percent in early trading.
