Financial Sector Still Showing Recovery

Nationstar Mortgage earned $0.85 a share on revenue of $431 million. Analysts had only expected $0.73 and $383 million, respectively. Management also raised full-year guidance. NSM climbs 5 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.

Weak Guidance Hammers Ruckus Wireless

Ruckus Wireless said second-quarter revenue will be no more than $64 million, below the $67.1 million expected by analysts. Earnings will also probably miss amid weak demand in China and uncertain deployments in this hemisphere. RKUS plunges 21 percent in early trading.

Aruba Craters on Weak Preliminary Numbers

Aruba Networks issued weak preliminary numbers for its third quarter, with profit seen at $0.11 to $0.12 per share. That's well below its earlier guidance of $0.20. Revenue of $144 million to $147 million also lagged the $159 million to $161 million range. ARUN drops 18 percent in the premarket.

As I stated in last week's article, a break out or a break down needs to have a couple things happen before it is considered a confirmed break out or break down. The only problem is that in today's market where things move much more quicker than they did just a few years ago, two days could wind up being the majority of the expected movement, if not the whole movement.
