Results Miss and Guidance Is Lowered
Men's Wearhouse reported third-quarter earnings of $0.95 a share, missing the $0.97 consensus forecast. Revenue of $630.97 also missed the $631.30 expected by analysts, and guidance was lowered. MW drops 11 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.
Vera Bradley Issues Weak Guidance
Vera Bradley's results beat forecasts, but the guidance was poor. Fourth-quarter earnings will be no more than $0.57 a share on revenue of $159.52 million. The Street was looking for $0.60 and $159.52 million, respectively. VRA drops 10 percent in the premarket.
Finisar Earnings and Revenue Beat
Finisar earned $0.15 a share, compared with the $0.14 consensus number. Revenue of $232 beat the $231 million estimate as well, and FNSR is up by 5 percent in early trading.
