Earnings, Revenue Beat On Quick Growth
Francesca's Holdings reported first-quarter profit of $0.20 a share, beating the $0.17 average analyst forecast. Sales totaled $61.3 million, ahead of the $60.36 estimate. Guidance was also strong as the retailer maintains its quick growth. FRAN is higher by 15 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.
ATP Fails to Retain New CEO
ATP Oil & Gas announced its new CEO Matt McCarroll is leaving because he failed to reach an employment agreement with the company. The news comes just one week after he was hired. ATPG drops 16 percent in early trading.
Progress Software Preannounces Weak Results
Progress Software preannouned fiscal second-quarter earnings of $0.17 to $0.19 on revenue of $110-115 million. The Street was looking for $0.26 and $123.7 million, respectively. PRGS falls 10 percent before the bell.
Molina Rebounds on Ohio Medicaid News
Yesterday Molina Healthcare plunged after costs in Texas forced management to withdraw earnings guidance. Last night the company announced it managed to hang onto a Medicaid contract in Ohio, and MOH is higher by 20 percent in the premarket.
