Revenue Strong at Discount Retailer

Dollar Tree reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.01 a share on revenue of $2.25 billion. Analysts had only expected $0.99 and $2.23 billion, respectively. That has DLTR up 4 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.

First Solar Sinks With Dim Outlook

First Solar's profit beat the Street, but that was the only bright spot! Revenue missed and guidance for the first quarter was well below consensus. FSLR tanks almost 15 percent in early trading.

Accounting Woes Hit Accretive Health

Accretive Health announced it would delay its fourth-quarter earnings report because it's "evaluating the timing of revenue recognition for its revenue cycle management agreements." That could result in a restatement of previous results. Traders are selling now and asking questions later, erasing 33 percent of AH's value in the premarket.
