Management Blames Weather, Economy

Children's Place reported strong results for the fourth quarter, but the outlook disappointed investors. For the full year, the retailer expects to earn no more than $3.10, which is well below the $3.59 consensus estimate. PLCE declines 5 percent before the bell on my tradeMONSTER platform.

Oppenheimer Upgrades RF Micro

RF Micro Devices was upgraded to "outperform" from "perform" by Oppenheimer, with a price target of $7. RFMD, which closed at $4.91 yesterday, rose 6 percent in early trading.

Calumet Specialty Plans to Dilute Shareholders

Calumet Specialty Products announced it would sell at least 5.25 million common units, representing almost 12 percent of its current float. CLMT, which is sitting at its highest price since early 2008, drops 5 percent on the news.
