Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Alcatel-Lucent (ALU): Some 11,600 January 3.83 calls were bought for $0.70 as investors look for upside in the stock price. ALU rose 3.50 percent to $3.70.

American Capital (ACAS): Some 3,000 August 16 calls were bought, mostly for $0.20, as investors look for upside in the share price. ACAS rose 0.61 percent to $14.96.

NorthStar Realty Finance (NRF): Some 10,000 August 17 puts were sold for $0.75 and $0.80 as investors look for the stock to hold its ground. NRF fell 0.53 percent to $16.75.
