Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Kinder Morgan (KMI): Some 12,000 September 35 calls we bought, mostly for $0.58, as traders look for upside in the pipeline company. It also saw bullish call buying yesterday. KMI fell 0.66 percent to $32.57.

Office Depot (ODP): some 16,000 January 2016 5 calls were bought for $1.25 and $1.30 as investors position for a long-term rally in the specialty retailer. ODP rose 1.80 percent to $5.09.

Frontier Communications (FTR): Almost 10,500 May 6 pus were sold for $0.10, but volume was below open interest at the strike. FTR rose 1.71 percent to $5.96.

As I stated in last week's article, a break out or a break down needs to have a couple things happen before it is considered a confirmed break out or break down. The only problem is that in today's market where things move much more quicker than they did just a few years ago, two days could wind up being the majority of the expected movement, if not the whole movement.
