Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Hertz Global (HTZ): Some 2,234 March 29 calls were bought for $0.65 as investors look for upside in the share price. HTZ fell 1.06 percent to $26.24.

Tessera Technologies (TSRA): More than 2,600 February 19 calls were purchased, mostly for $1 to $1.50 as investors get long before the Feb. 5 earnings report. TSRA rose 6.25 percent to $19.90.

XPO Logistics (XPO): Some 3,500 February 22.50 puts were bought for $0.30 to $0.40 as investors brace for downside in the share price. XPO fell 1.15 percent to $25.87.
