Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Micron Technology (MU): Almost 12,000 January 15 calls were purchased, most of which priced for $1.05, as investors continue to seek upside in the memory-chip maker. MU rose 0.56 percent to $12.54.

Cisco Systems (CSCO): Almost 11,000 October 27 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.60 to $0.68, as investors look for upside in the share price. CSCO rose 2.45 percent to $25.95.

Tiffany (TIF): Some 9,000 November 67.50 puts were bought, mostly for $1.11 as investors brace for downside in the shares. TIF rose 0.94 percent to $79.39.

As I stated in last week's article, a break out or a break down needs to have a couple things happen before it is considered a confirmed break out or break down. The only problem is that in today's market where things move much more quicker than they did just a few years ago, two days could wind up being the majority of the expected movement, if not the whole movement.
