Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Bank of America (BAC): More than 12,000 April 13 calls were bought, mostly for $0.32 and $0.33, as investors position for upside in the share price. BAC rose 0.63 percent to $12.79.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK): A block of 5,000 April 45 puts was bought for $0.45 as investors braced for downside in the British drug maker. GSK rose 0.24 percent to $45.87.
Sprint Nextel (S): more than 5,000 May 10 calls were bought for $0.02, but volume was well below open interest at the strike. That suggests an existing short position was closed. S rose 0.25 percent to $6.05.
