EMC (EMC): A block of 6,200 March 26 calls was purchases for $0.29 as investors look for upside in the cloud-computing stock. EMC rose 1.50 percent to $24.96.
Anadarko Petroleum (APC): More than 7,500 March 75 calls were purchased for $8 to $8.20 against open interest. That suggests an investor is closing a short position in hope that the shares will continue to climb. APC rose 2.20 percent to $82.27.
Ford Motor (F): Some 11,500 March 14 calls were purchased for $0.15 as investors position for upside in the share price. F rose 1.71 percent to $13.10.
Copano Energy (CPNO): Some 5,600 May 29 puts were bought for $0.05 as an investor closed a winning short position in the contracts following a big move last month. CPNO fell 0.15 percent to $38.65.
