Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): More than 11,000 March 3 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.46 to $0.50, as investors look for the chip maker to rally. AMD rose 1.75 percent to $3.21. (See related story)
Sprint Nextel (S): More than 60,000 November 6 calls were bought for $0.28 to $0.46 as investors look for the stock to rally. S is up 18 percent to $5.96.
MetroPCS Communications (PCS): Almost 14,000 contracts traded in the October 11 puts, but volume was below open interest at the strike. PCS fell 6.15 percent to $11.30.
