Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Bank of America (BAC): Some 76,000 January 10 calls were bought, mostly for $0.29, but volume was below open interest in the strike. BAC fell 0.07 percent to $6.98.
Citigroup (C): Almost 6,000 July 17 puts were bought for $0.24 as investors look for the stock to hold its ground. C fell 0.32 percent to $26.33.
JP Morgan (JPM): About 10,000 June 32 puts were bought, most of which priced for $1.01, as investors position for downside in the share price. JPM fell 1.92 percent to $33.28.
