Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL): More than 10,000 May 14 calls were bought, mostly for $0.75, as traders position for a rally. MPEL dropped 4.23 percent to $14.14.
Research In Motion (RIMM): An investor sold 20,720 June 13 puts for $1.65 against open interest and rolled the position to the June 12 puts for $1.49. He or she collected a credit of $0.16 and stands to profit from the shares pushing lower. RIMM fell 0.66 percent to $11.96.
Valero Energy (VLO): A block of 10,000 June 24 calls was bought for $0.64 and an equal number of June 25 calls was sold for $0.36. The transaction cost $0.28 and will profit from the refinery stock pushing higher. VLO fell 2.93 percent to $22.85.
