SPY: SEE CHART GET CHAIN FIND STRATEGIES
Total option volume is very strong at nearly 8 million already today, with highly bullish sentiment dominating the indexes and ETFs, optionMONSTER's data systems show.

The SPDR S&P 500 Fund (SPY) has 2 million options traded, with an unusual even split between puts and calls. Next up are the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) options with 372,000 as calls barely outpace puts.

Just behind are the S&P 500 Index (SPX) contracts at 370,000, with 200,000 puts. The SPY and the SPX options usually see many more puts than calls, and the VIX many more calls than puts.

The iShares Russell 2000 Fund (IWM) has 191,000 contracts changing hands, evenly split between calls and puts. Following closely are the options of the PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQ) with 190,000 as calls outpace puts by more than 2 to 1.

The iShares Emerging Markets Fund (EEM) and the SPDR Financial Fund (XLF) have each seen 143,000 options turn over, and both have significantly more calls than puts as well.
