SPY: SEE CHART GET CHAIN FIND STRATEGIES
Total option volume is just 4.7 million contracts so far with mixed action in the indexes and ETFs, optionMONSTER's data systems show.

The SPDR S&P 500 Fund (SPY) has 894,000 contracts traded, led by 645,000 puts. The iShares Emerging Markets Fund (EEM) takes the second spot with 198,000, of which 108,000 are calls.

The S&P 500 Index (SPX) options total 180,000 and have a put/call ratio of 2 to 1. Close behind are the PowerShares QQQ Trust (QQQ) contracts at 178,000, with 95,000 puts. The iShares Russell 2000 Fund (IWM) has seen 174,000 options trade, with a put/call ratio of more than 2 to 1.
 
The SPDR Financial Fund (XLF) has 117,000 contracts changing hands, with 66,000 puts. The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) options have traded 62,000 times, led by 38,000 calls. The SPDR Gold Shares Fund (GLD) has 60,000 turning over, including 35,000 calls.
