McMoRan Exploration (MMR): More than 8,000 July 11 calls were bought for $0.29 and $0.30 as investors look for the stock to rally. MMR rose 3.10 percent to $8.98.
Cisco Systems (CSCO): Almost 6,000 June 16 puts were bought for $0.03, but volume was below open interesting, suggesting an existing short position was closed. CSCO rose 1.85 percent to $16.78.
James River Coal (JRCC): Volume surged in the June 3 puts and the June 2 puts as an existing bearish position was apparently rolled to the lower strike, resulting in a credit of $0.85. JRCC rose 2.49 percent to $1.96.
AT&T (T): Investors bought 20,000 January 34 calls for $1.69 and sold an equal number of January 22.50 puts for $0.27. While bullish, it isn't clear whether a position was initiated or closed below volume was below open interest at both strikes. T fell 0.17 percent to $34.53.
