Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

MGM Resorts International (MGM): Some 13,000 May 13 calls were bought for $0.19 to $0.21 as investors look for upside in the share price. MGM fell 3.10 percent to $13.13.

Intel (INTC):  Investors bought more than 25,000 July 30 calls, but volume was below open interest in the strike. INTC fell 0.05 percent to $28.96.

U.S. Natural Gas (UNG): Some 6,400 May 19 puts were bought for $2.44 and an equal number of May 18 puts were sold for $1.58. The trade cost $0.86 and will earn about 16 percent if UNG stays below $18 through expiration. UNG rose 4.74 percent to $16.95.

Chesapeake Energy (CHK): Some 7,500 January 45 calls were bought for $0.10 and $0.11. Volume was below open interest, so it probably results from an existing short position being closed. CHK rose 1.72 percent to $17.03

AES (AES): A block of 7,750 January 12.50 puts was bought for $1.30, but volume was below open interest in the strike. AES is unchanged at $12.31.
