When we said the big trader top ticked the VIX with his/her sale of their July 25 calls on Monday, it seems that observation was dead balls on (technical term via My Cousin Vinny).
Look at the graphic below and you'll see the trader's exit at average price of $5.80 and the subsequent selloff to today's low of $3.80.
This trader bought sub $2, so took about $3.80 out on 64,000 contracts or $24.32 million. That's a big BANG!
