Position: Technical Support Staff
The normal schedule for this role spans the period during which optionMONSTER expects to have the majority of its online retail brokerage customers using the brokerage system. This is initially expected to be between 07:30h and 20:00h Central, Monday through Friday. The basic idea of this role is to assist OM brokerage customers with the technical aspects of using the brokerage web site.The required skill sets are:
- good working knowledge of several versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox in a Microsoft Windows environment
- familiarity with configuring and using those browsers in a home and office environment, with or without firewalls
- basic skill at troubleshooting customer Internet connectivity issues
- familiarity with DNS and how to troubleshoot its common issues
- good phone presence and ability to assist financial customers with technical issues
