Position: Second-shift Operator
The normal schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 15:00h to 23:00h Central.The responsibilities include:
- monitoring all batch jobs for completion
- backup tape management
- providing onsite assistance to remote administrative staff
- executing planned and emergency system restarts
The skill sets for this role include:
- batch job scheduling systems
- command line and graphical system interfaces
- basic Linux utilities
- some knowledge of the basics of the brokerage industry
- time management and task prioritization
- collecting sufficient information to aid troubleshooting
