Meet the Team
Todd Rich is President of optionMONSTER Media. After starting his career with Andersen Consulting, Todd moved to Chicago to trade on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. In 2003, he began a decade performing business development for various global exchanges, including Eurex, BOX Options and, most recently, the New York Stock Exchange. Todd has served on the Options Industry Council, and he is a member of the Security Traders Association. Todd has a BA from UCLA and an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
Mike Yamamoto is the Managing Editor of optionMONSTER. He is an award-winning journalist with decades of experience in online and traditional media. Before joining our team, he was executive editor for news at CNET Networks, where he covered the Internet and the technology sector. He has also taught journalism as an adjunct professor at the American University in Washington and California State University at Northridge.
David Russell is the creator of our researchLAB service. He's also an analyst and reporter for optionMONSTER, including InsideOptions™. Previously he was a producer for CNBC and a contributor to its online site. Before that, he spent more than five years at Bloomberg News covering the debt and equity markets. Early in his career, Mr. Russell served as a Marine Corps infantryman in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mike Bourdos is Account Executive extraordinaire for optionMONSTER. Mike worked as a loan officer in the mortgage business before moving into consumer banking as a branch manager. A longtime options trader, Mike helped launch the InsideOptions™ service in 2003 and is responsible for all aspects of trader support.
Joe Canas is Director of Media Technology at optionMONSTER. Previously he was senior portal strategist at Genentech, where he led web initiatives for the sales and marketing organization. Joe has also created award-winning information delivery programs, portals, web applications and services for Nortel Networks, Siemens, Amdocs, and ZDNet.
Chris Tsiolis is the Senior Business Development Associate for optionMONSTER. His professional experience includes creative work in advertising, marketing strategy and promotions. Prior to his current role, Chris was a copywriter and producer, professional poker player/journalist for the World Series of Poker, and an independent equity options trader. He has a BA in English from DePaul University.
